About AACOP...

The primary mission of AACOP is to improve the quality and professionalism of law enforcement in our great state. AACOP works to provide it’s more than 500 law enforcement executive members with state-of- the-art training, continuing education, legislative support, and other services. The slate of officers for the 2008 year are excited about the future of Alabama law enforcement and eager to lead the Association through another year of service to our citizens.

One of the most important activities of AACOP is the delivery of outstanding educational conferences that feature exceptional training in all areas of law enforcement management, networking with other chiefs, and the opportunity to see the latest in police technology and other products through the conference vendor program. The AACOP membership recently voted to go from 3 conferences to 2 per year, the first of which is scheduled for February 2008 in Montgomery, Alabama.
